Upon hearing about the engagement between 2face and Annie, the
media went into a frenzy of speculations: How big of a society wedding
will it be? Will the babymama’s be present at the wedding? Will a fresh
wave of baby mamas emerge? Will Nigeria ladies lead a protest now that
the most eligible bachelor has finally been snagged? All this
speculations were ongoing when we were hit with yet another shocker:
There had been a wedding!!! A secret wedding!!! And all we had to show
for it were two blurry photos:(Ever since the wedding, many have speculated as to why the wedding was hurried and hushed. Annie being pregnant wasn’t a valid enough excuse, she had done it before. To lay our fears to rest, 2face finally broke his silence about the secret wedding. This what what he had to say:
“Annie is my first and true love. I had known her before I met the other women in my life. As a Christian, I had to marry one woman and it just had to be Annie. We had a secret wedding after we had reached an agreement and amicable understanding about the mothers of my children. It was a tough decision to make, one of the toughest in my life.
“I secretly married her because I have so much respect for my
other babies’ mothers; I cannot afford to hurt their feelings with a
sudden society wedding with Annie, not now. I chose her above the others
because she has been through it all with me“
